In May 2015, Citigroup Global Markets Inc. signed a letter of Acceptance, Waiver and Consent with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in response to FINRA findings that Citigroup submitted reports that contained inaccurate, incomplete or improperly formatted data to the Order Audit Trail System (OATSTM).

The findings also indicated that Citigroup improperly filed Combined Order/Execution Reports to OAT that were not required.  Citigroup did not admit or deny the FINRA findings, but agreed to pay a $25,000 fine to resolve the matter.
